Shop Owner Policy

LocalShopWala provides business software for local shops. We are not a marketplace, seller, broker, or courier for your product sales.

You run an independent business. No partnership or employment is created between you and LocalShopWala.

• Give correct shop name, address, and contact details; add GSTIN if you use it
• Keep licences and permits for your trade up to date
• Set delivery area, hours, and shop policies clearly
• Use a mobile number you control for secure login

• Accurate names, descriptions, prices, units, and stock
• Photos that match what you sell
• Correct tax classification where you issue GST invoices
• Follow FSSAI, BIS, legal metrology, and other rules for your trade
• Remove discontinued items promptly

• You set your own prices
• Show tax-inclusive or tax-exclusive prices clearly as the law requires
• Calculate, collect, and pay GST and other taxes yourself
• Issue proper tax invoices where you are registered
• LocalShopWala plan fees are separate from your product sales taxes

• Accept, partly accept (when stock is short), or decline orders based on stock and your policies
• Tell customers clearly when some items cannot be fulfilled — the app notifies them on partial accept
• Generate or finalise the customer bill/invoice only when the order is completed
• Pack and deliver within the time you promise
• Tell customers about delays
• Keep records of orders and payments
• You alone are responsible for stock, quality, delivery, COD/pay-at-shop collection, and customer disputes — LocalShopWala is not liable for these

You handle all customer refunds, quality complaints, and delivery disputes. Publish your return rules on your shop page. LocalShopWala may pass on a complaint but is not liable for the outcome.

• Invite cashiers and inventory managers with role-based shop access
• Train anyone who uses the shop login on customer data care
• Change your password if a helper no longer needs access
• You remain responsible for actions taken with your shop login

You may show a UPI ID or other methods to collect from customers. LocalShopWala plan fees are paid separately through Cashfree.

You may type your UPI ID or scan / upload a UPI QR to set it up. We read the QR only to get the payment details, then discard the photo. We do not store UPI QR images on our servers or photo hosting.

Never ask customers for UPI PIN, CVV, or net-banking passwords. Do not store full card details on LocalShopWala outside authorised payment partners.

We may suspend a shop for breaking the Terms, selling banned goods, fraud, or legal orders. Appeal at support@localshopwala.com.
