Service Delivery Policy

LocalShopWala is a digital software platform for local shopkeepers. We provide online tools for billing, inventory, khata, purchase orders, and an online shop page.

We are not a courier, warehouse, marketplace seller, or logistics company. We do not stock shop goods or deliver them to end customers.

Delivery areas, fees, and timings shown on a shop’s page are set and fulfilled by that shop (or their own delivery partners).

Our Free, Monthly, and Yearly plans are digital services. There is no physical parcel or courier shipment of the software.

• Access is provided electronically after successful registration and login
• For paid plans, access to paid features is activated after Cashfree confirms successful payment
• Service is delivered online through our website and apps over the internet
• You need a working internet connection and a supported device to use the service

• Set clear delivery areas, fees, minimum order value, and shop hours
• Tell customers about pickup options and any limits
• Fulfil accepted orders within the time you promise
• Follow the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 where they apply to your trade
• Handle complaints about late, missing, damaged, or wrong deliveries
• Give refunds or replacements for delivery failures as per your own refund rules and applicable law

• The sale of goods is a contract between the customer and the shop
• LocalShopWala helps capture the order and send status updates
• Product quality, packing, and delivery remain the shop’s duty
• Online orders are currently cash on delivery or pay at shop — we do not collect online payment for product orders
• Customers must give a correct delivery address for home delivery

LocalShopWala is not liable for failed delivery caused by an incorrect address, unreachable location, or denied entry. Saving a full address to a customer profile is optional.

We are not liable for shop delivery delays caused by traffic, weather, courier partners, stock shortage, wrong addresses, or the shop’s own operations.

Problems that stop order placement or login on our software can be raised with our support team. Planned maintenance will be notified where reasonably possible.

This Policy is governed by the laws of India. It should be read with our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Cancellation & Refund Policy.
